I am glad that you are here! We would like you to become a member of the 'Friends' and join us in promoting and celebrating the growth of ONT. If you are already a member, thanks for your participation. ONT is on the move. It is going forward into the future, and we are proud to be a part of that growth.
The Friends of Ontario International Airport (ONT) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that was founded in 1963 by people who loved the airport and wanted to support it. Founding members were primarily local community and business leaders who believed in ONT's role as an economic driver for the Inland Empire, but today has grown to include people from all walks of life who have a common interest in aviation, the growth and development of ONT, and the best interests of the Inland Empire as a whole.
Friends of ONT plays an important role in educating the public about Ontario International Airport's amenities, benefits, and services, but it doesn't stop there. They also provide fundraising support for other community organizations, such as the Bob Hope USO Ontario, Travelers Aid of the Inland Empire, Baldy View ROP, and the Hero Club in Ontario, which serves disadvantaged children.
We also find ways to have extra fun through volunteer opportunities, field trips, and enjoying each others' company at meetings. Guest speakers and other events keep us informed about what's happening in the aviation world and in the Inland Empire.
So if you're the type of person who cares about their region, wants to make an impact, and also have some fun while doing it, then the Friends of ONT is a group worth checking out. Come drop by and see what we're all about!
